Montefiore Health System is seeking a Nursing Attendant dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves assisting patients with daily activities, obtaining vital signs, and being part of a team that values compassion and respect. Applicants should have a high school diploma, BLS certification, and excellent communication skills.

Provides direct patient care services such as assisting patients during activities of daily living, including eating, bathing, ambulating, and eliminating. Obtains and documents vital signs and specimens as required.
The Nursing Attendant is a member of a team dedicated to providing the highest quality care and services to our patients by assisting in maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment; supporting dietary care; facilitating communication, e.g., answering phones; transporting patients; and assisting visitors. As an integral part of the team, the Nursing Attendant promotes patient-focused care within the Patient Unit.
Education, Training & Experience:
High School Graduate or equivalent, with vocational/technical training preferred.
Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
Graduate of a State Certified Program or 1-year clinical experience as a nursing student/foreign graduate nurse.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
