Job summary

Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) seeks an Associate Dean of Nursing to lead daily academic operations and collaborate with clinical partners. This full-time role emphasizes staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and program development to advance CCAC’s nursing division.

The position requires a PA RN license or eligibility and a strong record in academic leadership within community colleges. In-person work is required with standard college hours and some evening/weekend commitments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• A minimum of five years’ progressive experience in academic affairs leadership; PA RN license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Supports the AVP/Dean in strategic initiatives and program design.
• Monitors course and room schedules to meet student needs.
• Coordinates adjunct faculty and staff evaluations and records.
• Approves course waivers and substitutions.
• Participates in division budget development.
• Facilitates academic misconduct policy and CCAC procedures.
• Coordinates responses to student academic issues and complaints.
• Promotes student recruitment, orientation, retention and placement.
