Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd ICU in New Albany, IN is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant/Unit Secretary for night shifts (7pm–7am). The on-shift team member will support the nurse with delegated patient-care tasks and routine unit duties in a 16-bed adult ICU.<\/p>

The position requires prior Nursing Assistant experience, BLS for Healthcare Providers, and a high school diploma or CNA is preferred but not required. This employer is EOE and offers competitive salaries with excellent benefits.<\/p>

Job Duties:

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant/Unit Secretarywho under general supervision and according to established procedures functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.

About the Unit:

The Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed adult medical ICU providing specialized care for a variety of critically ill patients, including those with: stroke; sepsis; shock states with or without multi-organ failure; and respiratory failure.

Qualifications:

BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

Previous Nursing Assistant experience required.

High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
