Baptist Health Floyd's Intensive Care Unit in New Albany, IN is hiring a Nursing Assistant/Unit Secretary for a full-time 36-hour week on day shifts (7am–7pm). The role supports the on-shift team under the nurse's direction, performing delegated patient-care tasks and routine unit maintenance.

Qualified applicants will hold BLS for Healthcare Providers; prior Nursing Assistant experience is required. A high school diploma/equivalent or CNA is preferred but not required.

Job Duties: We are seeking a Nursing Assistant/Unit Secretary who under general supervision and according to established procedures functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.

About the Unit: The Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed adult medical ICU providing specialized care for a variety of critically ill patients, including those with: stroke; sepsis; shock states with or without multi-organ failure; and respiratory failure.

Qualifications: BLS for Healthcare Provider required. Previous Nursing Assistant experience required. High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
