Baptist Health Floyd on the 2BCE Intermediate Unit seeks a Nursing Assistant to join the on-shift care team under nurse supervision, performing delegated patient care tasks and routine unit maintenance.

The 34-bed PCU unit serves adult patients with complex needs at a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio; the team emphasizes teamwork, clinical expertise, and a supportive environment. Part-time schedule 7am-7pm, benefit eligible.

Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide delegated aspects of patient care under nurse supervision.
• Assist with routine non-patient care unit tasks and on-shift duties.
• Work as a team member on the 2nd floor Intermediate Unit with a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Job Duties:

We are seeking a Nursing Assistantwho under general supervision and according to established procedures functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.

About the Unit:

The 2nd floor Intermediate Unit is a 34-bed unit specializing in Progressive Care (PCU) or intermediate nursing. With nurse-to-patient ratios (4:1), our team provides high-quality care to adult patients with complex medical needs. Our unit is composed both experienced and new graduate nurses; we work as an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient centric care. Our team continues building our reputation as a unit everyone wants to be a part of because of teamwork, clinical expertise, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications:

BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
