Baptist Health Floyd ICU in New Albany, IN is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant/Unit Secretary (24 hours weekly, days 7am–7pm). The role supports an on-shift team under the nurse and provides delegated patient care and routine unit tasks.

The Intensive Care Unit serves critically ill adults; BLS certification is required. Prior Nursing Assistant experience is expected, though a HS diploma or CNA is preferred but not required. Competitive salaries and excellent benefits are offered.

Job Duties:

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant/Unit Secretarywho under general supervision and according to established procedures functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.

About the Unit:

The Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed adult medical ICU providing specialized care for a variety of critically ill patients, including those with: stroke; sepsis; shock states with or without multi-organ failure; and respiratory failure.

Qualifications:

BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

Previous Nursing Assistant experience required.

High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
