Job summary

National Health Care Associates, Inc. is hosting a Nursing Assistant Trainee program at our Brentwood Center in Yarmouth, ME. Trainees will receive hands-on instruction, attend class, labs, and clinical experiences to prepare for the CNA exam while earning during training.

Participants will be promoted to CNA upon licensing, with pay increasing to $22 per hour. The program runs a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, and includes mentorship and a clear path to career growth in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Must commit to a full-time course, 4 weeks.
• Excellent attendance and reliable transportation required.
• Students get paid $17.50 per hour during training; after completion promoted to $22 per hour.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and work all day.
• After graduation, must commit to working days/evenings/overnights and cover 2 weekends per month.
• Course fee payback if required year is not met.

What You'll Do:

This class is hosted at our Brentwood Center in Yarmouth, ME

We cover all costs and pay you full time to complete our course, then promote you to CNA when you receive your license*

Next class starts early November*

$17.50 pay while in training / newly licensed CNA starts at $22 an hour

As a Nursing Assistant Trainee, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship to develop essential skills in providing care to our residents. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals. You will attend class, lab instruction and clinical experiences to prepare for the Certified Nursing Assistant exam.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in training programs to gain knowledge of healthcare protocols and procedures

• Must be able to commit to a full-time course, (Monday - Friday / 8 hours a day) for 4 weeks.
• Must have excellent attendance, reliable transportation, be consistently dependable.
• Students get paid $17.50start an hour / Then after completion promoted to CNA and pay is $22 an hour (base). There are additional shift differentials on top of base pay.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, work all day.
• Need to have a good understanding of what a CNA does (full care / bathing / changing / bodily fluids etc…)
• After graduation, must be able to work days, evenings, or overnights….and must cover 2 weekends per month.
• Must commit to working in our Center for 1 year Full-time after getting LNA license.
• There is a course fee payback requirement if required year is not met.

Up to USD $17.50/Hr.
