National Health Care Associates' Dover Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Dover, NH is seeking a Nursing Assistant Trainee to join a 4-week full-time course, with evening classes (3pm–11pm) and promotion to LNA upon completion.

The role offers hands-on training, competitive compensation, and a clear growth path. Starting wage is $16/hour, rising to $20/hour as an LNA, with additional shift differentials, and a commitment to work at the center for one year after licensure.

Qualifications

• Must be able to commit to a full time course (Mon-Fri, 8 hours/day) for 4 weeks.
• Excellent attendance and reliable transportation required.
• Starting pay is $16/hour as a THP trainee, promoted to LNA at $20/hour after completion, with shift differentials.
• Must understand LNA duties (full care, bathing, etc.) and be able to work days/evenings/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Engage in training programs to gain knowledge of healthcare protocols and procedures.
• Learn and apply fundamental nursing skills under supervision.
• Assist nursing staff in providing daily care to residents.
• Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and grooming.

What You'll Do

• We pay you full time to complete our course, and then promote you to LNA when you have completed the 4-week course*
• Initially hired as a Unit Aide / targeting hire date of 11/5/2026 *
• Next class starts 11/10/2026 *
• This class will be conducted on evening hours (3pm - 11pm), or depending on needs of the center *

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Must be able to commit to a full time course, (Monday - Friday / 8 hours a day) for 4 weeks.
• Must have excellent attendance, reliable transportation, be consistently dependable.
• THPs start at $16 an hour / Then after completion promoted to LNA, and pay is $20 an hour (base). There are additional shift differentials on top of base pay.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, work all day.
• Need to have a good understanding of what an LNA does (full care / bathing / changing / bodily fluids etc…)
• After graduation, must be able to work days, evenings, or overnights….and must cover 2 weekends per month.
• Must commit to working in our Center for 1 year Full-time after getting LNA license.
• There is a course fee payback requirement if required year is not met.
