Baptist Health in Elizabethtown, KY seeks a dedicated Nursing Assistant for the Short Stay Unit on a full-time night shift (7p–7a). You will support RN-directed care, document measurements, assist with activities, hygiene, mobility, and perform hourly safety rounds to enhance patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• Six months experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document height and weight on admission.
• Turn and position patients every 2 hours.
• Assist with activity, ambulation, and transfers as ordered.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene (showering, bathing, shaving, oral care).
• Take and record vital signs accurately.
• Conduct hourly rounds to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
