Kyeatright is hiring a Nursing Assistant for the 3 North Tower Medical Surgical unit in Elizabethtown, KY. This part-time role runs 7a–7p, supporting RNs with patient care, vital signs, hygiene, and mobility. The position emphasizes safety, compassion, and teamwork in a hospital setting.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, BLS within 90 days, and CNA is preferred. Hospital or long-term care experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Six months hospital or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with basic care and hygiene as directed.
• Take and record vital signs; document findings.
• Turn and position patients every 2 hours; promote safety.
• Encourage activity and mobility and assist with ambulation as ordered.
• Take and record vital signs within established time frames and participate in hourly rounds for patient safety.
