Job Overview

Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with excellent benefits and wages ranging from $22.19 - $28.00 / hour. Wage determinations will be based on similar experience. Additional pay is provided when working evening/night shifts.

Martin Luther Care Center is seeking a part-time Weekend Nursing Assistant/Registered (CNA/NAR) to support our residents in our Skilled Nursing Facility (Transitional Care and Long term care). This role provides hands-on care and support services for our senior patients at our spacious care center in Bloomington, MN.

This position includes:

1. 48 hours every two weeks, part-time schedule
2. Evening shift
3. Every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and holiday rotations

Martin Luther Care Center, part of the Martin Luther Senior Living Campus, is located in East Bloomington, MN, near woodlands/wetlands and along the Minnesota River Bluffs. Managed by Ebenezer, it offers 137 units across Skilled Nursing, Memory Care, and Transitional Care. • Assist residents based on individual care plans with activities such as bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, and responding to call lights
• Check and record vitals as per community patient care model
• Provide AM/PM/NOC cares, including peri-care and catheter care
• May turn, lift, or transfer residents with or without mechanical assistance
• Observe residents and report status clearly to staff
• Document in electronic medical records
• Address resident and family concerns
• Communicate reports during shift changes
• Maintain room and work area cleanliness, report equipment issues, and answer phones promptly

Required: Active Nursing Assistant, Registered (NAR) on the MDH Nursing Assistant Registry by start date, or hired into Ebenezer’s Nursing Assistant Course or Pre-CNA program, with a 4-month window to activate on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.

Preferred: Ability to work with diverse and geriatric populations, effective communication, experience as HHA, PCA, DSP, NA, Resident Assistant, or in customer service.
