Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is hiring a Nursing Assistant for the Progressive Care Unit. This full-time night shift (7pm–7am) role supports the nurse team by providing delegated patient care and routine unit tasks.

Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• Previous Nursing Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support a high-acuity patient population within the PCU.

While the unit specializes in cardiovascular care nurses will encounter a variety of diagnoses, such as CHF, dysrhythmias, DKA, respiratory issues, sepsis, etc. While working closely with an interdisciplinary team, nurses provide excellent care for a high acuity-based population.
