Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Unit Secretary for the Intensive Care Unit on a full-time night shift (7pm-7am) in New Albany, IN. This role is benefit eligible and supports on-shift nursing with delegated patient care and routine non-patient care duties.

The ICU unit features 16 beds and serves critically ill patients. Applicants should have a Nursing Assistant background and BLS certification; high school diploma or CNA preferred but not required.

Formación

• BLS for Healthcare Provider is required.
• Previous Nursing Assistant experience is required.
• High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.

Job Duties:

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant/Unit Secretarywho under general supervision and according to established procedures functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.

About the Unit:

The Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed adult medical ICU providing specialized care for a variety of critically ill patients, including those with: stroke; sepsis; shock states with or without multi-organ failure; and respiratory failure.

Qualifications:

BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

Previous Nursing Assistant experience required.

High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
