Select Specialty Hospital in St. Louis is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN night shifts (7p-7a) at the St. Louis North facility.

Compensation starts at $22/hour with a $1.50 night shift differential and a $1,500 sign-on bonus. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience); BLS is required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient bathing using basin-less methods, oral hygiene, feeding, and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with maneuvering patients in stretchers/wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly; maintain stock levels of supplies.
