Job summary

Valley View Retirement Community in Belleville, PA is seeking caring CNAs to provide hands-on nursing care under supervision. Per diem shifts include 6AM-2PM, 2PM-10PM, 10PM-6AM, with duties to support comfort, dignity, and independence of residents.

Responsibilities include personal care, documentation, and maintaining a safe environment, under state and facility guidelines. CNA certification and a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program are required; GED or 8th grade is acceptable for entry.

Qualifications

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Observe and document care and observations in flow sheets and electronic systems.
• Provide care under supervision of licensed nursing staff.

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, walking, and repositioning.
• Support residents in maintaining independence, choice, and dignity.
• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary environment; stock supplies; report equipment concerns.
• Observe residents’ conditions and document changes accurately.
• Interact with residents, families, coworkers, and visitors professionally.
• Follow state/federal regulations and facility policies; infection control procedures.
• Perform related duties as assigned by licensed nursing staff.

Valley View is seeking caring and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide hands‑on support that enhances the comfort, dignity, and independence of our residents. In this vital role, you will deliver daily nursing care and services in accordance with each resident’s care plan while working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

What You’ll Do

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, eating, walking, and repositioning
• Support residents in maintaining independence, choice, and dignity whenever possible
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment, including stocking supplies and reporting equipment concerns
• Observe residents’ conditions and accurately document care and observations in flow sheets, notes, and electronic systems
• Interact with residents, families, coworkers, and visitors with respect and professionalism
• Follow all state and federal regulations, facility policies, and infection control procedures
• Perform related duties as assigned by licensed nursing staff

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8th grade education or GED
• Completion of a state‑approved Nurse Aide Training Program (NNAAP) or current enrollment considered
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state
