Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following: 18 years old or 17 with high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of CNA program or nursing clinical rotations within an accredited program or Allina Health Nursing Assistant Academy.
• Previous direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care/interventions as assigned.
• Assists with ambulation, transfer, positioning and ROM as per activity order.
• Observes and records vital signs and health status data.
• Responds promptly to patient call lights.
• Maintains skin integrity and provides personal hygiene support.
• Assists with transfer of patients and transportation within the site.
• Follows fall prevention and safety procedures; reports concerns to RN.
