Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee, KS, is seeking a Night Shift full-time Patient Care Technician (PCT). You will assist in patient care under a licensed nurse, document vital signs in the EMR, and ensure adherence to policy, safety standards, and isolation guidelines. A High School diploma or GED is required; BLS‑ CPR is needed, CNA/CPCT/A preferred.

Ideal candidates have 1+ PCT experience, with EMT preferred, and will join a team that values patient-centered care and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred or required.
• CNA/CPCT/A preferred, EMT also mentioned as favorable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Accurately performs vital signs and documents in the electronic medical record.
• Performs duties and patient care according to policy and procedure.
• Follows CDC isolation guidelines and uses PPE correctly; supports safety regulations.
