Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for the Miller, SD facility to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The NA works under RN supervision, assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and mobility while following infection control policies.

The role requires CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or enrollment in a training program, and includes opportunities for contributing to wellness and recreational programs within the team.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification required or in process of obtaining certification.
• Maintains yearly continuing education credits (minimum 12 hours).
• For applicable states, UAP Registry registration may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, range of motion and vital signs.
• Assist with meals, dining, and hydration; support recreational activities.
