Regency Hospital - Central Georgia in Macon, GA is seeking a Nursing Assistant for PRN/per diem night shifts. The role involves direct patient care, bathing, mobility, and assisting the care team to ensure comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience (3+ years).
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA certification.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing and oral hygiene.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist staff in moving patients and equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs, and other instruments.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position: Nursing Assistant (NA)

Location: Macon, GA

Schedule: PRN/Per Diem, 12-hour shifts - Nights

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair


• Participate in hourly rounds


• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs


• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs


• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition


• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed


• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)


• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)


• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
