Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Battle Creek is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for PRN shifts at Battle Creek, MI. You will deliver compassionate care, assist with daily living activities, and support patient comfort during recovery.

Responsibilities include bathing, oral hygiene, hourly rounds, transporting patients, and maintaining clean equipment and rooms. Prior hospital NA experience and BLS within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Nursing Assistant (NA) - PRN Both Shifts

Hours

7:00 am - 7:00 pm or 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

Pay

$24.00 per hour

Shift Differential

($2.00 shift differentials for nights and $1.75 for weekends)
