Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs)
• Keep patients’ rooms clean and orderly
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or related field experience (e.g., medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
