Job summary

A leading rehabilitation facility in Chester, NJ is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care for patients. The successful candidate will assist with daily living tasks, monitor vital signs, and support patients in a clinical setting. This full-time position requires a BLS certification, with shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and hospital experience is preferred. Position: Nursing Assistant (NA) | Location: 200 Pleasant Hill Rd, Chester, NJ 07930 (MORRIS COUNTY) | Schedule: Full-time, Nights 7:00PM-7:30AM (Includes Weekday & Weekend Shifts) | Compensation: $21.00/Hour - $25.59/Hour (Based on Experience) + Shift Differential

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub, and shower), oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves, and documenting oral intake, including supplements
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in the mobility program
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers

Minimum Requirements

• Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Hospital experience, certification as a nursing assistant preferred

Per Diem Requirement: Four (4) shifts per 6-week schedule. One Saturday or Sunday, one winter/summer holiday
