Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Rehab Hospital in Beachwood, OH is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for full-time, 12-hour shifts. Compensation ranges from $17.75 to $21.94 per hour with sign-on bonuses of $7,500 for night shifts and $5,000 for day shifts.

Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographics.
• Assist patients with daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, hair care).
• Deliver meals and snacks, document oral intake and supplements.
• Turn and position immobile patients and participate in mobility program.
• Answer call lights and provide services that support patient well-being.
• Transport patients to treatment centers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub and shower), oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience, certification as a nursing assistant preferred (maybe required based on some state requirements)
