Job summary

SSH-TriCities, LLC in Bristol, Tennessee is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for full-time night shifts. The role offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus and an hourly compensation range of $17.00 to $22.88, based on experience, with comprehensive benefits.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED or relevant work experience (3+ years) and BLS within 90 days. Hospital CNA experience is preferred and encouraged for growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less methods; assist with oral hygiene, feeding, and hair care
• Conduct hourly rounds and monitor patient well-being
• Transport patients to treatment centers; assist movers with stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs, and other equipment
• Keep patient rooms clean and stocked; manage unit supplies as directed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
