This position is 32 hours per week, mix of 8 and 12 hour day/evening shifts with an every other weekend and holiday rotation.Education Qualifications:Responsible for providing direct care to patients and serving the needs of patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort, under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, Assistant Head Nurse, and/or Department Director (possibly with guidance from an LPN) to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Duties will vary by patient care unit/department and include but are not limited to: Providing personal hygiene care, assisting with nutritional needs, providing comfort care and other assistance, appropriately and safely transferring patients, taking vital signs and completing recordkeeping, recognizing and promptly reporting changes in patient condition to the RN, and maintaining a safe, clean environment for patients to promote the healing process. Works within job scope to meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and other applicable federal, state and local regulatory and accrediting agencies.This position requires the ability to work the following schedule:32hours per weekMix of 8 and 12 hour day/evening shiftsEvery other weekend and holiday rotationHiring Incentive Eligible Position: Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to $1500.Licensure/Certification Qualifications:Certified Nursing Assistant through the North Dakota Department of Health preferred.
