Job summary

Essentia Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care on the 32nd Street location. You will assist with hygiene, nutrition, comfort, transfers, and monitoring patient condition under RN supervision.

You’ll complete vital signs, keep accurate records, maintain a safe environment, and report changes promptly. BLS and ND CNA registration within 3 months, plus CPR/BCLS within 1 month, are required or planned.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred in North Dakota.
• If no CNA, must be registered as Nurse Assistant within 3 months.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 3 months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene care and assist with nutritional needs.
• Offer comfort care and help with safe patient transfers.
• Take vital signs and complete recordkeeping.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and report to RN.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment to promote healing.
• Follow Joint Commission and regulatory requirements.
