Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Pampa Regional Medical Center seeks a Medical Surgical CNA to assist with patient care, ADLs, mobility, feeding, and vital signs; supports nurses by maintaining supplies and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

The role requires a current CNA certificate, BLS within 30 days, knowledge of medical terminology, and at least six months' acute care experience. Night shift, full-time at Pampa TX.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or preferred at hire.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Six months of acute care hospital or physician's office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Help with mobility and transfers to prevent skin breakdown and assist feeding as needed.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to nurses; assist with wound care under RN direction.
• Stock and maintain supplies in patient rooms; keep environment clean and safe.
• Assist in transporting patients within the hospital.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• Assistpatients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and toileting

• Help with mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transferring patients to preventskin breakdown, you may also feed patients who needassistanceandmonitorintake/output

• Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration),observeand report changes in a patient's condition to nurses, you may also help with wound care under the direction of an RN

• Stock andmaintainsupplies in patient rooms, ensure the environment stays clean and safe

• Assistin transporting patients within the hospital

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

1. Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.

2. Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.

3. Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.

4. Minimum six months' previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.
