Job summary

Pampa Regional Medical Center in Pampa, TX seeks a Medical Surgical CNA to support patient care, mobility, feeding, and vital signs while assisting nurses and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Entry-level CNAs are welcome; required CNA certificate and BLS; six months of acute care experience preferred. This full-time night shift offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Help with mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transferring patients; may assist with feeding and monitoring intake/output.
• Take and record vital signs; observe changes and report to nurses; may assist with wound care under RN supervision.
• Stock and maintain supplies in patient rooms; ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Assist in transporting patients within the hospital.

We are seeking a Medical Surgical CNA, also referred to Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Med-Surg CNA. A Med Surg CNA will assist with patient care by supporting daily activities, mobility, feeding, and vital signs while monitoring for any changes. Additionally, the Med Surg CNA, will help nurses by maintaining supplies, assisting with wound care, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

• T ake and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration), observe and report changes in a patient’s condition to nurses, you may also help with wound care under the direction of an RN
• S tock and maintain supplies in patient rooms, ensure the environment stays clean and safe
• A ssist in transporting patients within the hospital
