Job summary

Pampa Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Nurse Aide to join our MED/SURG/Telemetry team on the night shift. This role supports daily living activities and provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the unit.

Qualifications include a CNA certificate (preferred) and BLS within 30 days of hire. Knowledge of medical terminology and 6 months of acute care or physician’s office experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months’ previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Nurse Aid in the MED / SURG / Telemetry Department assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and maintains a safe environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Under supervision of the RN in charge of the team and/or unit, supports patient care delivery and safety best practices.
