Job summary

Monroe Hospital in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Nurse Aide to join the MED/SURG/Telemetry department. You will assist with activities of daily living and support the nursing team under supervision.

Qualified candidates will hold a Certified Nursing Assistant certificate, have BLS, knowledge of medical terminology, and prefer at least six months in acute care settings. This is a full-time night shift with a focus on patient safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months' previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Nurse Aid assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and helps maintain a safe environment under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Aid in the MED / SURG / Telemetry Department is an unlicensed assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
