Job summary

Saint Clare's Health in New Jersey is seeking a Nursing Assistant in the Behavioral Health Unit. The role is an unlicensed non-certified assistive position that supports daily living activities and basic nursing care for non-critical patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

You will help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment in collaboration with the care team, with nights shifts and full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.

Responsibilities

The Nursing Assistant in the Behavioral Health Unit is an unlicensed non-certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.
