Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan provides resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you’ll assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support residents’ physical and psychosocial needs while adhering to infection prevention and PPE protocols.

Travel to multiple locations within a 75-mile radius is required. A minimum of 30 hours per month and at least one weekend shift per month are expected, with a salary

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
• Willingness to travel within 75 miles of permanent address.
• Minimum of 30 hours per month and one weekend shift per month.

Responsibilities

• The Nursing Assistant provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Maintains infection prevention policies and uses PPE as required.
• Assists with daily living activities and basic health care needs, including recording vital signs when needed.
