Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a not-for-profit long-term care setting. The NA will support residents under RN supervision, performing daily living activities and basic health tasks with emphasis on infection prevention and patient safety.

The position requires travel to support multiple locations within a 75-mile radius of the permanent address, with minimum 30 hours per month and at least one weekend shift per month.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required
• 6 months preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Perform basic health care tasks including vital signs, bathing, toileting, grooming and transfer assistance.
• Follow infection prevention policies and PPE usage as part of the nursing team
