Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our inpatient team at Sanford Broadway Med Ctr in Fargo, ND. You will provide patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN/LPN supervision, with day shifts and full-time schedules.

Sign-on bonus available for eligible applicants. Responsibilities include helping with hygiene, vital signs, transfers, and light clerical tasks in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred and maintains required competencies.
• If working in North Dakota, must be on the ND Nurse Aide Registry upon training/completion or within four months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with basic health care needs including bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Record vital signs and basic health information.
• Assist with patient transfers and ambulation.
• Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient care.
• Prepare and clean patient treatment areas and equipment.
