Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• CNA certification preferred; maintains required competencies.
• If in ND and not CNA, must be on the ND Nurse Aide Registry within four months of employment.
• If in Wisconsin, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating while supporting emotional needs.
• Record vital statistics, glucose levels, and other health data.
• Assist with patient transfers and ambulation.
• Perform scheduling and documentation tasks related to patient care.
• Prepare and clean patient treatment areas, living spaces, and equipment.
• Dispose of biomedical waste per standards and policy.

Education
