Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management seeks a Nursing Assistant in Training (NAIT) to prepare for Minnesota’s nursing assistant competency exam. NAITs must be actively enrolled in a Minnesota MDH Registry-approved training program and plan to complete the course and pass the competency exam within four months of hire.

Upon passing, the NAIT will apply internally for a CNA position at the Monarch facility of their choosing; the program allows up to three exam attempts, with a new training program if

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a Minnesota DHS Nursing Assistant Registry-approved Nursing Assistant program.
• Completion of 16 hours of supervised practical training.
• Ability to clearly speak and proficiently read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Assume CNA duties under supervision as deemed competent during training.
• Prepare for and assist in the Minnesota nursing assistant competency exam.
