Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a Nursing Assistant III to support direct and indirect patient care across units. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient status, and collaborate with RNs and LPNs to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years direct patient care experience in an acute care hospital, long term care facility, rehabilitation facility or licensed home care facility/agency (OR)
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with minimum 1-year full time experience in an acute care facility, long term care facility, rehabilitation facility or licensed home care facility/agency (OR)
• Current EMT certification with minimum 1 year field experience as an active volunteer or work experience (ED applicants only)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Perform ADL care including bathing, oral care, dressing, and hygiene.
• Ensure patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance.
• Document in EMR and participate in rounds and ongoing patient care communications.
