Responsibilities

• Patient Care: provide direct/non-direct care under licensed supervision and report patient data to RN.
• Professional Development: maintain current knowledge and certifications (e.g., BLS) and participate as a preceptor.
• Safety/Quality: uphold a Culture of Safety and follow universal precautions and PPE guidelines.
• Technology: use department-specified software and operate during downtime as needed.
• Compliance: follow hospital policies, protect patient privacy, and report compliance issues.
• Patient and Family Centered Care: respect patient and family preferences and involve them in care planning.
• Age & Culture: adapt care to diverse patient needs and communicate sensitively.
