• Completion of a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Assistant program, or Florida CNA certification, or Florida LPN licensure.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program; or EMT/Paramedic background.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hygiene, mobility, hydration, elimination and nutritional needs.
• Provide routine treatments and maintain a safe, clean, neat, and organized patient environment.
• Maintain safety and security of patients, families, self, and healthcare team.
• Ensure patient privacy, rights, and confidentiality.
• Follow standard precautions and always wash hands between patients.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Take and record vital signs and document pertinent patient information.
