Job summary

Orlando Health Wiregrass Ranch Hospital in Wesley Chapel, FL seeks a Nursing Assistant II to perform general patient care under supervision of an LPN or RN. The role supports hygiene, mobility, hydration, and daily activities in a busy PreOp unit.

The position requires a high school diploma and completion of an approved CNA program or equivalent licensure. BLS certification and one year of relevant experience are preferred. Day shifts, full-time.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year of nursing assistant work experience within past five years may substitute for training.
• Successful completion of CNA program; or Florida CNA certification; or LPN; or nursing student with clinical rotation; or graduate of nursing school; or EMT/paramedic; or international licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with hygiene, mobility, hydration, elimination and nutrition.
• Provides routine treatments and maintains a safe, clean, neat, and organized patient environment.
• Maintains safety and confidentiality of patients and staff.
• Handles admissions, transfers, discharges, and accurate documentation.
