Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. seeks a patient care teammate to perform general patient care under the direction of the Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse. The role supports hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and safety while maintaining a clean and organized nursing unit.

Schedule is full-time with three 12-hour shifts weekly (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and rotating weekends. Responsibilities include documentation, patient comfort, privacy, and assistance with admissions, transfers and discharges.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must obtain BLS/Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with hygiene, mobility, hydration, elimination and nutrition.
• Provides routine treatments and maintains a clean, safe patient environment.
• Maintains patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Records vital signs and inputs/outputs as directed.
• Communicates patient information to health care team.
• Participates in handoff reports and hourly rounding.
• Transports and delivers items, equipment, and medications throughout the facility.
