Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant nursing assistant training or licensure per Florida standards. Prior CNA experience and current BLS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year of nursing assistant work experience in past five years or a training alternative.
• Florida CNA certification or LPN or nursing school graduate eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with hygiene, mobility, hydration, elimination and nutrition.
• Provide routine treatments and maintain a safe, clean patient environment.
• Ensure patient privacy, rights, and confidentiality.
• Follow standard precautions and maintain hand hygiene between patients.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Document and report patient data as directed.
• Support nursing staff with rounds and care tasks.
