Job summary

UNC Health in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Nursing Assistant I to join Rex 3 West on the night shift. You will provide routine direct and indirect patient care under supervision of a nurse or physician, assisting with exams, admissions, and daily living activities.

This role offers 36 hours/week, onsite work, and a competitive hourly pay of $18.00–$24.66 with night shift differentials. Prior CNA experience is preferred; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in verbal and written English language.
• Able to develop basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and other health care providers with routine examinations and procedures.
• Observe, collect, and document patient information and report changes to supervising staff.
• Provide care and support to patients and families during admission, orientation, and discharge.
• Provide direct personal care for activities of daily living and postural support.
• Perform routine clerical functions and help maintain work area and supplies.
• Reinforce patient education and distribute educational materials.
