Job summary

AdventHealth in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Full-Time Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care. You will perform vital signs, document in the EMR, and assist with daily tasks while ensuring safety and compliance with policies.

Requires High School diploma and BLS; 1+ year PCT experience preferred. Optional CNA/CPCT/A or EMT credentials may be favored. Pay ranges from $16.42 to $26.28 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ applicable PCT experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification required.
• CNA/CPCT/A etc. preferred or required per policy.
• EMT; CPCT/A; NCPCT; PCT-C certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Accurately measure and document vital signs.
• Document and report procedures per policy.
• Perform duties and patient care according to procedures.
• Respond appropriately in clinical emergencies.
• Support performance-improvement initiatives and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and healthcare team.
