The Nursing Assistant provides physical patient care in a safe manner under the direction of the Licensed NurseSUPERVISION Reports directly to Nurse Manager andor Charge Nurse

High school graduateGED preferred Prior experience as a Nursing Assistant in a hospital setting may be used as a substitute to the education requirementGraduate of an approved Nursing Assistant Training Program preferredCPR certified preferredBasic computer skillsAbility to communicate professionally with patient family peers and medical personnel; ability to exercise independent judgmentRequires emotional stability and maturity; must be adaptable to change be decisive and demonstrate foresight; exhibits organizational and leadership ability
