Job summary

Valley View Retirement Community is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide hands-on care under licensed supervision. You will follow each resident’s care plan and assist with daily activities, aiming to enhance comfort, dignity, and independence.

Qualifications

Must have 8th grade education or GED.
Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program (NNAAP) or current enrollment considered.
Current CNA certification in the state.

Valley View is seeking caring and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide hands-on support that enhances the comfort, dignity, and independence of our residents. In this vital role, you will deliver daily nursing care and services in accordance with each resident’s care plan while working under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

Positions Available:

10:00PM - 6:00AM Every other weekend & holiday

What You’ll Do

Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, eating, walking, and repositioning

Support residents in maintaining independence, choice, and dignity whenever possible

Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment, including stocking supplies and reporting equipment concerns

Observe residents’ conditions and accurately document care and observations in flow sheets, notes, and electronic systems

Interact with residents, families, coworkers, and visitors with respect and professionalism

Follow all state and federal regulations, facility policies, and infection control procedures

Perform related duties as assigned by licensed nursing staff
