Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital in Avon, OH is hiring a Nursing Assistant for full-time day and night shifts (7 AM–7 PM, 7 PM–7 AM). Compensation goes up to $21.33 per hour based on experience, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

The position supports care for patients with brain injuries, spinal injuries, and other rehabilitation needs. Responsibilities include vital signs, hygiene assistance, meals, mobility, and patient transport, with strong emphasis on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: hospital experience as a nursing assistant or CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care including bathing, oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Deliver meals and snacks and document oral intake for patients.
• Turn and position immobile patients safely and assist with mobility programs.
• Transport patients to designated areas and treatment centers.
