Job summary

Providence in Burbank, CA, is seeking a CNA to provide basic nursing care under direct RN supervision at St Joseph Medical Center. You will assist with observation and care across age groups, and participate in ongoing education to maintain clinical competencies.

The ideal candidate has CNA certification, completion of approved nursing training, and current BLS. MOAB I/II training and readiness to complete hospital onboarding are required.

Qualifications

• MOAB I/II within 30 to 150 days of hire for employees in Emergency Dept., 2T, and PARC only
• Satisfactory completion of training for Nursing Assistants
• CNA certificate, graduate of any accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program, or demonstrated equivalency (such as experience as a corpsman, EMT, foreign-licensed RN or MD), completion of accredited Nursing Program
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care to patients under direct supervision of RN.
• Assists RN in observation and care of patients in assigned area(s) and demonstrates proficiency across age-specific patient populations.
• Deliver age-appropriate care across patient populations (infants–geriatrics).
