Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center is hiring a Nursing Assistant to support the care team and help maintain a safe, quiet, clean environment for patients. You’ll assist with basic nursing tasks under RN supervision and contribute to a culture of compassionate, patient-focused care.

Day and night shifts are available, with both full-time and part-time positions. A Washington CNA license and BLS are required at hire, with orientation and ongoing professional development encouraged.

Qualifications

• Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License required upon hire.
• BLS - American Heart Association required upon hire.

Job description

The CNA performs assigned tasks and activities according to skill level and patient needs as assessed by the RN. The CNA supports nursing personnel in providing nursing care to patients and assists with providing a safe, quite, clean, organized environment using care delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Successful completion of an orientation program or equivalent.
• Acute care experience.
