Advocate Health's Aurora Sinai Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Float Pool team member to assist with daily patient care and support RN workflows. This full-time role includes weekend program PM shifts and a differential as part of the float pool.

Candidates must be a Nurse Aide in good standing and complete BLS within 45 days; duties include EMR documentation and patient care tasks. Successful applicants will demonstrate basic computer skills, strong communication, and organizational

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED/HSED required.
• Annual educational requirements for hospital-based certifications (e.g. DNV, CARF or others).
• Nurse Aide in good standing with State Registry; BLS certification within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care (bathing, hygiene, feeding, ambulation) and proper transfers.
• Measures and documents vitals and I&O; documents in EMR.
• Performs rounding and communicates observations to RN; documents appropriately.
• Supports admission, transfer and discharge processes with room setup and belongings management.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing; maintains competency.
• Performs errands, stock nursing area, cleans equipment and work areas.
• Positioning and transporting patients; assists with nutrition and diet setup.
